# Queries ranked by how a metric differs between two sides

`POST /analytics/v1/searches/queries/comparisons`

Which queries gained or lost the most against another time range, another segment, or both, by one metric.

`filters` hold on both sides; `segment` holds on the request's own side alone, and `comparison.segment` on the
comparison side alone, which takes `segment` when it leaves it out. For another period, set
`comparison: {"date_range": ...}`. For another segment over the same period, e.g. mobile shoppers in variant A of
the client's A/B test against mobile shoppers in variant B, set `filters: {"device": {"eq": "mobile"}}`,
`segment: {"external_ab_test_variant": {"eq": "A"}}` and
`comparison: {"segment": {"external_ab_test_variant": {"eq": "B"}}}`.
For the queries whose click-through rate is at least 20% below the comparison side's, add
`change_filters: {"click_through_rate.relative_change": {"lte": -0.2}}`; the same change in
`sort: {"field": "click_through_rate.relative_change", "direction": "asc"}` puts the steepest drop first.
